62, and 82 In-Wall speakers. The new Ambiance series offers consumers affordable, high
quality sound that acoustically enhances any home without disrupting the decor. Prices

Product Features The new Ambiance models feature a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, mounted in an ``eyeball'' mechanism, to help optimize stereo imaging and coverage. Each system also relies on a high quality, low-frequency driver (5-1/4-inch in the Ambiance 52; 6-1/2-inch and 8-inch in the Ambiance 62 and 82 respectively) that utilizes an environmentally stable, low-mass injection-molded cone and high-strength rubber surround within a mechanically stable, corrosion- resistant frame. A two-position tweeter-level switch allows owners to contour response according to room acoustics, speaker placement, or system use and individual preference. A solid-state, auto-resetting tweeter-protection circuit provides security against accidental overdrive or excess power. Cambridge SoundWorks also incorporates high-quality crossover circuitry into all three new in-wall designs. Each features air-core inductors and film capacitors in its tweeter circuit to maximize definition and transient accuracy, and low-distortion laminated-core woofer inductors for midrange clarity and bass impact. The Cambridge SoundWorks Ambiance 52, 62, and 82 are assembled on paintable ABS baffles designed for strength and vibration damping. Each model features transparent grilles that can also be painted to match wall color or room decor. Specially designed ``dog-leg'' mounting clamps aid in making installation simple and easy for do-it-yourself consumers or custom install specialists.
