30 /PRNewswire/ -- Radiate, the largest free software company in the world, is diving into
the MP3 market by offering free ad-supported MP3 players. The Silicon Valley-based company

In recent months, the music industry has been embroiled over debates about ways to make MP3's profitable for artists, record labels and publishers. This strategic alliance represents the second step in a five tier agenda for Radiate to engage the entertainment industry. ``I'm very excited about this new relationship with MyNetMedia,'' said Radiate CEO, Ehren Maedge. ``Our ultimate goal is to show all segments of the entertainment community how to harness the Internet for the economic benefit of their art. Both artists and labels want a solution for monetizing free distribution on the Internet. Radiate plans to show them the light.'' In the near future, the company plans to unveil the rest of its plan for the MP3 industry. Radiate software already reaches more than 28 million unique consumer desktops.
